G.I. Joe Bedding for your little boy

January 10th, 2008 by Bedding Expert

GI Joe the Real American Hero is back!! G.I. Joe stands for “General Issue Joe”.

In 1963, noting the commercial success of the Barbie doll for girls, Stan Weston, came up with the idea of a Barbie-like line with a military theme that would be marketed to boys. The prototypes were originally named “Rocky” (the marine/soldier) “Skip” (the sailor) and “Ace” (the pilot), before Don Levine, inspired by the 1945 film The Story of G.I. Joe, decided on the generic name G.I. Joe. The line was launched, on February 2, 1964, with a World War II theme. The G.I. Joe figures were originally four figures, one to represent each branch of the Armed Forces.

Today G.I. Joe is still very popular with little boys and especially those with parents in the military. Make your little boy’s room into a GI Joe the Real American Hero jungle with camo wall border, lamps, toy box, rocker, and desk along with the bedding.

Fantastic 4 Bedding for your child’s room

January 10th, 2008 by Bedding Expert

The Fantastic 4 is a fictional superhero team appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics since 1961. The Fantastic Four have four core individuals traditionally associated with them. They gained superpowers after exposure to cosmic rays during a scientific mission to outer space. Mr. Fantastic is a scientific genius and the leader of the group who can stretch his body into incredible lengths and shapes. The Invisible Woman is Reed’s wife; she can render herself invisible and project powerful force fields. The Human Torch is Sue’s younger brother, who can generate flames, surround himself with them and fly. The final member is the monster-like Thing, their friend with orange, rock-like skin and super-strength. The Thing is often filled with anger, self-loathing and self-pity over his new existence. Since the original four’s 1961 introduction, the Fantastic Four have been portrayed as a somewhat dysfunctional yet loving family. Breaking convention with other comic-book archetypes of the time, they would squabble and hold grudges both deep and petty.

Domestic Bin has everything that you need to create a Fantastic 4 bedroom for your child.

It has a silky texture and a natural luster that does not wash out. Micro fiber wicks moisture away from the skin better than any other fiber and dries quickly. You will find that polyester or a polyester/cotton blend in much of the linens on the market. It gives vibrant colors and tends to need less attention because it doesn’t wrinkle or shrink as easy as its cotton counterpart.
